"This is the Year I write like it's my last day"
GO! Arts Creative Writing with Barbara Renaud Gonzalez
Workshop Objectives
1. To reinforce the Goldens understanding about Voice as it relates to fiction/poetry/essay so that the Goldens can begin/complete their individual works for their family, the public, or for publication.
2. To give guidance in the vital connection between creativity and writing (The Creative Fire, by Clarissa Pinkola Estes, Sounds True CD).
3. To explore with the Goldens how the three genres overlap and how the writer's voice is critical to every genre. Assignments will be given and the Goldens will be asked to share their writing with the class for critique. Writing exercises will also be provided in each class.
